    Default MIG conversion Kit

I would like to be able to MIG weld with my PP256. Any plans on offering a kit to convert a tig to a mig?

best bet buy a mig welder . only way if possible would buy a add on wire feeder like the old miller welders but the wire feeder are expensive like 1500 or more and are a pain to adapt if not a miller welder .http://www.millerwelds.com/products/wire_feeders/r-115/ this is basically for a dc stick welder to mig weld . never seen one on a tig welder

    Danny,

MIG welders are wired to produce a constant voltage (CV) where as your TIG/Stick machine is wired to produce a constant current (CC, amps). Search around the forums, and there are a few other good explanations as well. This is also the reason your welder has a main amps knob instead of a main volts knob.

    Cheers
