I had two 4.5" pipes today that needed to be cut at 45 degrees. I can get it close with my eyeball and square. inclinometer and stand-off (or inclinometer and water tank). Then I thought I would look for templates since the internet seems to have it all. I found some really cool magnetic ones, but $100 for them.
After a lot of searching I found the solution below, on harderwoods.com no less???
I fudged up the number and got what I wanted. Printed, cut and taped up the template. Grease pencil twice. Done.
I also found this below, prior, worth a mentioned as well. But the above one did the trick.
http://www.metalgeek.com/static/cope.pcgi and one on a cycle shop too.
