On another thread, a 25 amp Everlast unit was mentioned as being sold in Canada. Can Oleg or Duncan give us some more details on this unit? Im sure are many on these boards that would like to hear more about it - availability, cost, performance, manuals, etc. I would expect that a smaller portable 110v unit with low amp settings might just be the bees knees for some guys that only ever need a low-amp cutter for HVAC or body work, or for the tool freaks among us who might like to have both a 220v unit set up for the heavier gauges and a 110v low-amp unit for the sheet.
Thanks!

Sorry i missed your first post here been a bit busy lately trying to get ahead on things as i am due at the factory in a couple of weeks time.
The 25amp plasma uses a continous blowback style torch . This torch is the newly designed Trafimet SK25S torch ( uses same consumables as the S45) it only needs 33lpm of air flow at maximum 30psi ( works best at 25psi) and it is designed for a clean cut of 6mm (5.5mm= 1/4" ) it can drop down to as low as 12 amps for fine cuts .
the Technology is IGBT similar to that of the PowerPlasma 50. However with the 25 amp we eliminated the Euro connection in order to keep costs down on the unit. ( $500) I will post some pics later

Great thanks for the information, Duncan - it sounds like a quality full-featured little unit. Will this unit be available in the states and will it be added to the website(s) any time soon?
