View Full Version : Trailer Gate project for 16' trailer

My Dad picked up this 16' dual axle trailer for $200. This is after a lot of cleanup. It had no gate and he wanted a matching gate to match his 10' trailer. Again not a lot of pictures. Used square tube frame and expanded mesh. Bolted on aluminum fenders to. IMIG-250P used this time. Dad took pictures of me welding henge on. Not bad for $200. Fenders are now black. Will take another picture of it done later if I get time

Great deal on the trailer, the ramp looks good. You are sure keeping busy and helping your dad out. Your dad should be very proud of you.

Thanks Scooter he does tend to work my but off but I like to weld. Here is a picture of the gate it was backed in the woods and my brothers plants so best I could get. Will upload picture of the one I copied like your brake :O. but the press was all mine minus jack.

That looks really good, now u don't have to put boards up to get whatever you need on the trailer

Nope and it is removable to. Heavy but two people can take it right off
