Q. I am considering purchasing from Everlast the first time. How can I trust its products?
A. Everlast is a well known and rising name in the welding industry. We have had our products featured in magazines, websites and product reviews. We even have an educational program, where we work with schools and students to provide them with affordable quality welding and plasma units. Our products are manufactured using tough standards which include the following:
- " Every unit goes through a testing and quality control evaluation at the factory. Each product must meet standards set by the management in order to reduce any chance of manufacturing defects.
- " Multi-point tests are conducted and units are randomly tested again before shipment.
- " If a unit fails, other units in the same serial number lot are pulled and tested for similar issues.
Q. There are so many products in the market that sell similar and generic products. How do I know that Everlast is different?
A. Everlast products are registered and trademarked. Our products are distinctly different and stand apart from the generic looking competition. We have purposefully stepped away from the generic look. Our designs, specifications and features are our own. We create the machines that our customers want and provide them at reasonable cost. We employ a highly experienced technical staff in the design and support department. Our globally based manufacturing facilities are held to higher standards than the bulk of the competition that "orders" from the same problematic factories. Everlast markets its products through its exclusive dealer network and through its web-based services. You will find our name brand product sold throughout the United States and the world. A lot of name brand welding products are usually cheaply copied by these knock-off factories and sold in the United States by small, inexperienced companies and individuals as their "own" product, while the only thing different in these units is the color. These products are generally manufactured with sub-standard parts and may not last. We suggest that you always look for the Ever-Green color and the Everlast name to identify our current products.
Q. There are similar products in the market that are selling at cheaper prices. Can you reduce your prices to match those prices?
A. Again, our products ARE different. We sell IGBT based products that are equal with the largest U.S. based welding product companies. Our experience in manufacturing welding, plasma cutting and power generating equipment is unequalled in the competition. When you purchase an Everlast product, you are purchasing quality, precision and efficiency that are backed by timely customer support. If our pricing is out of line, then let us know. You may find products in the market that are cheaper, but the decreased price usually comes at a serious cost to quality, reliability and support. We try to operate our company to maintain the margins that we need to offer you the kind of service that many have come to appreciate. Certainly, we have done well so far with our approach and have had very few complaints.
Q. Do you offer volume discounts?
A. Yes, contact us directly to discuss details and quantities.
Q. I am a student or educator. Does Everlast have a program to help train the workforce of tomorrow by offering educational discounts or other programs to schools or students?
A. Yes, on a case by case evaluation. Send us a request explaining your or your schools particular needs. We will be glad to work with you whether it is for technical assistance in selecting one of our products or providing educational discounts or submitting formal bids. Nearly 50 percent of the welding workforce is retiring in the next 2 years. We have found that many schools lack the needed equipment to adequately train the welding force of tomorrow. We want to do our part to help out.
On receipt of your payment and once the same is cleared, we will immediately ship your ordered unit to you. You will receive an order number by which you can track the status of your order.
Q. Are Everlast products covered under warranty?
A. Yes, Everlast offers a 5-year warranty on welders, plasma cutters and combo units. For further details, please consult with our Terms and Policy for details, limitations and certain exclusions.
Q. Does Everlast sell used or refurbished products?
A. Occasionally, we have our factory reconditioned units on sale or auction. These units are factory perfect. However, in order to avoid confusion, we sell these items with a special limited 6 month warranty. We do not intentionally sell these units as new. We may, at our discretion, replace a customer's older failed unit, nearing the end of its warranty period, with a reconditioned unit. We will fulfill the complete warranty period for the original unit.
Q. I am interested in becoming an Everlast dealer. Does Everlast have a dealership program?
A. Yes, Everlast Power Equipment Company has a dealership program and we are willing to work with dealers that are interested in stocking and aggressively promoting our products. Q. I have encountered some problem with my Everlast product. Whom do I contact?

Ordering and Payments
Q. What type of credit cards does Everlast accept?
A. Everlast accepts all major credit cards issued by U. S. banks and including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept payments via PayPal and Money Order. Please note that we will ship only to the addresses registered with the redit ard ompany and PayPal. Money Orders will be accepted and processed as they clear.
Q. What proof will Everlast provide me for my credit card payment?
A. On completion of an online purchase you will receive an e-mail confirming your payment details. Also, print the confirmation screen containing your transaction details after you complete the checkout process.
Q. Will my credit card statement reflect that I have made the payment to Everlast?
A. Yes, your credit card statement will reflect that the payment has been made to Everlast. Contact us immediately with any discrepancies.
Q. When will my credit card be charged?
A. Our website is well-equipped to carry out secure transactions online. So your credit card is charged as soon as you complete the checkout process. Our automated system immediately notifies our shipping department, which ships within a 3 day window of time.
Q. Are online credit cards purchases at the Everlast website safe?
A. Your online credit card transactions with Everlast are absolutely safe. Our website www.everlastgeneraters.com is secured using the latest encryption technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Our SSL certification is purchased from a reputed Certificate Authority and the relevant details about the certificate validity and expiration will be available to you. Any credit card information that you enter is therefore scrambled at your end and only unscrambled at our end, making sure that no third person has access to your sensitive personal information.
Q. Which shipping address do you consider?
A. We use the same address that has been verified and listed at your credit card company. You must enter the same address while submitting the billing address details at our website. For your privacy and security, we will ship to your credit card listed address only, and not to any other address. The transaction may be declined if the address you have entered does not match what is on file with your credit card company. While this is occasionally an inconvenience for our customer, we feel it is necessary to help prevent any possibility of fraud or identity theft. If the product is picked up at a terminal, the purchaser will have to produce proper identification. Contact the shipping company in these cases.
Q. What should I do if my credit card is declined?
A. If your credit card is declined, you need to contact us immediately to determine the reason. Contact the issuer of the card as well. We will try to assist you in correcting the problem, if possible, or prompt you to use a different credit card.
Q. If I have purchased more than one unit separately one after the other, can they be shipped together?
A. At the moment, we cannot guarantee this. In fact, damage is more likely to occur in bulk shipped products. If we do ship at the same time in separate packages, we cannot guarantee delivery together. The shipping company may split up the deliveries. These issues reside with the shipper. Any substantial delays in shipping are usually found to be with the shipping companies.
Q. Is sales tax charged by Everlast?
A. According to state laws, internet retailers must collect sales tax in states that Everlast has facilities. Everlast is subject to comply with the collection sales tax in California and other states where it is deemed necessary by law.
Q. Once I place an order, can I cancel the order?
A. Our automated process works as soon as you finalize your online transaction in the check out process. The item is immediately slated to be shipped and the respective warehouses are notified. Since these payments and shipping processes cannot be reversed, an order placed is not usually able to be cancelled. However, if there is some problem with the accuracy of your order or other issue, contact us immediately.
Q. Can I make payments by international credit cards?
A. No. At the moment we do not have a provision for accepting international credit cards. In case you live outside of the United States, you can pay by money order, bank deposit, wire transfer, cashier check and personal check. Shipment may be delayed until these forms of payment are verified and completely cleared.

Q. Is it OK for me to come to your site to pick up the products I order?
A. No. As with most companies our corporate headquarters is unable to provide this service. Many issues come into play such as insurance, liability etc. We also may not have the product in stock at our main is reason corporate facility.
Q. What are the shipping charges I have to pay?
A. We offer low cost shipping on all welders and plasma cutters in the continental U.S. For other products, the shipping charges are available on the products page. Shipping charges and handling charges depend upon the weight, the value of the product, and the final destination. Due to these issues, we are unable to negotiate once they are established.
Q. Do you arrange to ship to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska or other international destinations?
A. Yes, we do ship to these locations. If you live in these locations, you will have to obtain the shipping charges from our representatives for every order before making your purchase.
Q. Will the delivery of the products be handled by Everlast or by someone else?
A. Everlast may use multiple carriers when required, depending on the weight and volume of products to be shipped. You will be provided with the exact carrier details in your order status page which you can view at any time using your order number. We reserve the right to ship through our own privately contracted carrier.
Q. How long after I place my order will it take for the products to be shipped?
A. All orders are shipped within 3 business days after we receive your payment. If there would be a delay due to some unavoidable circumstance, you will be notified immediately.
Q. Do you ship on high priority basis?
A. Yes, we will ship on a high priority basis as the situation warrants. We can ship your unit and schedule for overnight or 2nd day delivery, at an additional and substantial cost to you.
Q. What if I want my shipping charges refunded?
A. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable as mentioned in our Terms and Policy page. A refund is possible only if an in product has been incorrectly shipped, with the re-shipping cost of the correct product being borne by us. Q. How long will it take for the products I ordered to reach me?
A. Usually we ship your order within 3 business days. Allow 3-7 more business days for delivery. You will know the exact dates by tracking your order on the order status page.
Q. How can I track the status of my order?
A. An Order ID number will be issued to you as soon as you make your payment. An email message will be sent to you to the effect. You can enter your Order ID number in the space provided on the order status page and access your order and shipment details.
Q. What must be done in case of delayed or damaged delivery?
A. If your order does not arrive within 10 business days or arrives in a damaged condition, contact us immediately. We cannot correct a problem in a timely manner unless you let us know. If you suspect damage upon delivery, inform the delivery person as soon as it is delivered so that he/she may make a report or so that you can refuse delivery. Note the damage on the waybill (depends on the carrier) and inform us immediately so that we can carry out the claim process. You must make a note even if you accept the damaged product. In case, the product was delivered in your absence (as in freight-paid cases) and found to be damaged, a post delivery damage claim can still be filed against the carrier. If these guidelines are followed, we will be able to quickly replace your product. If not, then it may cause a delay.
Q. Will the carrier deliver the package if I am not at home?
A. Usually, due to the value of the product, the carrier cannot deliver any product without a signature from the person or entity placing the order. In case you are not at the destination location, the carrier will leave a "call tag" which you can use to reschedule delivery. Occasionally you may be able to contact the shipping company with the tracking number to schedule the delivery to your convenience. However, this is your responsibility.
